Water Cycle

HSIE
Stage 2,3,4,5
Earth and Environmental Science

The water cycle describes the continuous movement of water on, above and below the surface of the Earth from one place to another. For example, evaporation occurs when heat from the Sun causes water from the water bodies to evaporate and turn into water vapour. The states of water on the Eearth includes solid, liquid, and gas. The water moves from one place to another through the physical process like evaporation, condensation, precipitation, transpiration, infiltration, and surface runoff.
